Five tips on how to exercise the cheap way!


            Two weeks have passed since the holiday season, but the weight we gained from eating in parties and celebrations is still in our bodies. So here are some tips on how to lose weight and become fit, not only after the holiday season but for the whole year. These are simple exercises that any individual can do or squeeze in their daily activities to adopt a better lifestyle.

1.    Tooth Brush Wall Squat


Yes, even while boringly brushing your teeth you can make your body fit. To do this exercise, the first thing you should do while brushing is find a wall where you can lean on. Then bend your knee in a sitting position. Do this until you finish brushing your teeth. Congratulations you’re starting to get fit. Why? By doing this everyday, or two-three times a day, you will develop more stamina and endurance that will help you do more heavy exercise.
            This will surely benefit your legs strength and tone your butt. Just remember that your back must be flat against the wall. 

2.    Biking!

From attending school to buying stuff in the market, a bike can be your daily friend in travelling for long or short distances. Biking, according to study, has many good effects on our body like strengthening our heart, lungs, and blood vessels. Sure, you will sweat a little, but isn’t that good for you? Also, enjoying a good scenery way home is good thing when you’re biking.
Biking doesn’t only give benefit to you but also to the environment.


3.    Play to Sweat

Everybody loves to play games! From video games to board games, every one can enjoy it, especially games that can be played indoors and with your family. But you know what more fun than playing is? It is playing while being more fit.
Try to engage games that needs moving like Just Dance, Rock Band, Shaun White Skateboarding, Sports Active, or Wii Fit. This will help you sweat while enjoying, reducing fat while laughing, and even being more close to your family while being fit.



4.    PERFORM!

We didn’t mean that you have to perform in a large crowd, but it is better if you can, we meant here that you perform even with yourself. While taking up your bath, dance. While you’re cooking or ironing the clothes, sing. While doing boring chores your mother assigned to you, perform. Performing will help you release your energy and will make you more active and enjoy what you are currently doing. Who knows? You may accidentally discover your hidden talent.


5.    Do Challenges!

From simple five (5) push-ups every T.V. commercial or five (5) sit-ups every time you die in the game, you’re playing a good challenge that will motivate you more to move. Do challenges that are easy to do that involves yourself moving and sweating. The more the better. Challenging yourself to be more fit is a good idea and will benefit you in the future.


            These are some fun exercises you can do to be fit without being forced too much. But remember, proper diet is still more important than exercise. And lastly, don’t be afraid to explore other exercises you think is more compatible to you. Just keep healthy and live happy.
